USDA Certified Biobased Product – The goal of the BioPreferred® program is to reduce global reliance on petroleum based products and to increase the use of renewable sources which benefit the environment. The USA Department of Agriculture recognises and approves timber packaging designed by the Pallet Design System™ (PDS) as utilised by Shaw Pallet, and classifies them as USDA Certified Biobased products.
